How To Use The Bundle
- Identify the material and confirm that plasma cutting and the selected welding process are suitable for the workpiece.
- Connect the CUT55MP to its required electrical circuit and an external compressed-air source according to the CUT55MP manual.
- Install the IPT60 torch and compatible consumables, set the required air pressure and cutting current, then test the cut on scrap.
- After cutting, switch off and isolate the plasma cutter. Remove slag and contamination, fit the joint and prepare the metal for welding.
- Set up the TIG200P with its own correct power connection, TIG torch, work clamp, shielding-gas system, tungsten and compatible filler metal.
- Test the welding setup on matching scrap. Replace torch parts only with components that match the selected TIG or plasma torch configuration.
Additional Equipment And PPE Required
For TIG welding: A filled 100% argon cylinder, compatible regulator or flowmeter, suitable tungsten and filler metal as required, and a compatible electrical circuit are needed unless specifically listed with the TIG200P standard accessories.
For plasma cutting: A clean, dry external compressed-air supply and a compatible electrical circuit are required. The included CUT55MP hose and filter do not replace the air compressor.
Safety: Use a properly rated welding or cutting helmet, welding gloves, flame-resistant protective clothing, suitable eye and hearing protection, and all other task-appropriate PPE. Control sparks, fumes and fire hazards and follow both operator manuals.
