Description
Bundle Summary
In addition to the welder’s standard accessories, this kit includes a TIG foot pedal, a 71-piece TIG torch parts kit, red- and blue-coded tungsten electrodes, welding gloves, 5 lb of stainless steel TIG filler rods, and 5 lb of mild steel TIG filler rods. Add current control, torch spares, electrode options, filler metal for two steel categories, and basic hand coverage to your repair setup.
Bundle Highlights
Filler For Two Steel Types
Separate stainless steel and mild steel filler supplies support different repair jobs when the filler classification matches the base metal and procedure.
Adjust Current During Repairs
Use foot-operated TIG amperage control as joint conditions and heat levels change.
More Torch Supplies On Hand
Compatible torch parts and additional tungsten provide options for routine TIG setup and maintenance.
Fewer Separate Accessory Purchases
Get TIG control, torch supplies, two filler-metal packages, and basic hand coverage together.
Extra Accessories Included In This Kit
Everything below is included in addition to the standard accessories supplied with the welder.
Keep Torch Spares Available
Keep replacement TIG torch wear parts available for routine maintenance and setup changes, helping reduce interruptions when components need attention.
Add A DC TIG Electrode Option
Red-coded thoriated tungsten provides an additional electrode option for compatible DC TIG applications.
Keep Spare Electrodes Available
Blue-coded lanthanated tungsten provides a non-thoriated electrode option for compatible DC TIG work and replacement of worn or contaminated electrodes.
Add Filler For Stainless Repairs
Add stainless steel TIG filler metal for compatible fabrication and repair work.
Support Mild Steel Repair Work
Add mild steel TIG filler metal for compatible repair and fabrication jobs.
Adjust Heat While Welding
Adjust TIG amperage by foot as the joint heats up, keeping both hands available for steady torch and filler-metal control.
Add Basic Hand Coverage
Add a basic protective layer for suitable welding and material-handling tasks.
Best-Fit Applications
- Mixed Steel Repair Work: Shops repairing both compatible stainless steel and mild steel parts with properly matched filler metal.
- Bench Fabrication: Brackets, frames and assemblies where foot control supports in-process heat adjustment.
- Repeated TIG Setup Changes: Work that benefits from compatible spare torch components and more than one tungsten option.
- Thin Or Heat-Sensitive Joints: Steel work where reducing current as the joint warms helps manage heat input.
- Occasional Stick Repairs: Use Stick mode with separately purchased compatible coated electrodes; the TIG foot pedal is not used in Stick mode.
How To Use The Kit
- Identify the base metal and confirm that the selected filler classification and diameter match the material, joint design and service requirements.
- Select an appropriate tungsten type and diameter. Install only collets, collet bodies, cups and other torch parts that match the selected setup.
- With input power disconnected, connect the supplied TIG torch, work clamp, gas system and compatible foot pedal according to the TIG200P manual.
- Connect the welder to a compatible 110V or 220V power supply that meets the manual’s circuit requirements.
- Select a TIG mode that supports foot-pedal amperage control, set gas flow and welding parameters, and test the setup on matching scrap.
- Use pedal travel to adjust current while maintaining torch angle and filler-metal control. For Stick welding, follow the manual and use compatible coated electrodes without the TIG foot pedal.
Additional Equipment And PPE Required
For TIG welding: A filled 100% argon cylinder, compatible regulator or flowmeter, and a suitable electrical connection are needed unless specifically listed with the welder’s standard accessories.
For Stick welding: Compatible coated electrodes are required. The TIG foot pedal is not used for Stick welding.
Safety: Wear the included gloves together with a properly rated welding helmet, flame-resistant protective clothing and all other task-appropriate PPE. Follow the operator’s manual, consumable packaging, applicable SDS information and workplace safety requirements.
