The included pedal is compatible with the ARCCAPTAIN TIG205P Pro. Connect and operate it according to the machine and pedal instructions.

Use note: The foot pedal is for supported TIG operation. It is not used to control welding current in MMA/Stick mode.
Blue Tungsten Electrodes

Keep Replacement Electrodes on Hand

Use the extra electrodes in compatible DC TIG setups and replace contaminated or worn tips without relying only on the original supply.

Confirm that the electrode diameter matches the installed collet, collet body, and the supplied WP-26 torch setup before welding.

Best-Fit Applications

Precision Steel TIG Welding

Use the TIG205P Pro and supplied WP-26 torch for compatible mild-steel TIG work. Select suitable DC TIG settings and vary amperage as the joint heats up.

Stainless Steel Fabrication

Use DC TIG or Pulse TIG for suitable stainless joints. Prepare the tungsten correctly and select filler metal that matches the base material and procedure.

Garage & Workshop Projects

Use DC TIG for controlled bench work or switch to MMA/Stick for suitable repair tasks with compatible, separately purchased stick electrodes.

Setup Guide

How to Use This Kit

  1. Identify the base metal and select a suitable DC TIG process, tungsten size, filler metal, and torch consumables.
  2. With input power disconnected, connect the WP-26 TIG torch, work clamp, gas hose, and compatible foot pedal as directed in the user manual.
  3. Connect a filled 100% argon cylinder with a compatible regulator/flowmeter, then check all gas connections.
  4. Select a TIG mode that supports pedal control, set the required parameters, and test the setup on matching scrap material.
  5. Use pedal travel to vary current while maintaining torch angle, arc length, and filler-rod control.
  6. Stop and regrind or replace the tungsten if it becomes contaminated. Follow the manual's shutdown procedure after welding.

TIG welding requires additional equipment that is not listed as a kit extra:

  • A filled 100% argon cylinder and compatible regulator/flowmeter
  • Suitable filler metal when required by the joint and welding procedure
  • A compatible 120V or 240V power connection that meets the user manual requirements
  • A correctly configured welding helmet, welding gloves, protective clothing, and all other task-appropriate PPE
  • Compatible coated electrodes when using MMA/Stick mode
