ARCLUME AIR 500 portable laser welder for precise thin-metal work

The  ARCLUME AIR 500 delivers controlled heat input for clean welds, reduced distortion, and less post-weld finishing on thin sheet metal. Its compact handheld design is ideal for garages, repair shops, light fabrication, and mobile service work.

Start faster with 300+ guided presets

Choose the material and thickness on the 7-inch display to load a recommended starting preset. The guided Material → Thickness → Weld workflow helps reduce setup time, trial-and-error adjustments, and dependence on manual parameter selection.

Adjust key settings from the gun

Fine-tune laser power, scan width, wire-feed speed, feeding, and retraction directly from the gun-side display. Make adjustments closer to the workpiece without repeatedly returning to the main unit.

Portable power for shop and mobile jobs

At approximately 33 lb for the main unit, the AIR 500 is easier to carry between workstations, garages, and mobile job sites.

The machine supports 110–240V AC input and a compatible 48V portable power supply, giving you greater flexibility when fixed shop power is not practical.

The integrated air-cooling system eliminates the need for an external water chiller, coolant tank, or fluid loop.

With fewer external components to connect and maintain, the AIR 500 is faster to set up, easier to transport, and better suited to space-limited workshops and mobile jobs.
